Bethesda, in Savannah, GA, is the oldest continuous running orphanage in this country, founded in 1740 by George Whitfield.  I have met several men who were raised in this place and asked if I had painted the entrance to Bethesda yet...well now I have.

CHARLOTTE FESTIVAL IN THE PARK

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Charlotte Festival in the Park last weekend! With the multiple intermittent downpours, I am amazed at the number of you who donned rain gear and came to the show anyway! Although it was a challenge for those of us in the tents, I am grateful for your interest in my work.
I am pleased and humbled to report that this original oil painting on canvas, "Lake Glenville Morning," was given an Honorable Mention award by the jurers. I painted it plein air. It is 30x20, $1050. framed.
I hope to see some of you at my next show in Highlands, NC: Friday & Saturday, October 14-15!
